Many people myself included, really love our dogs.we are excited to have one,we enjoy their lives laugh over their antics, and grieve when their short lives are over
They are warm loving compassionate animals sent to be our.buddies, our helpers air guardians. The problem comes when we over do our affections. It is not beneficial to any one involved.we are stressed about concern we are not doing enough, and deplete our bank accounts doing more and more. The dog needs love and affection.he needs your time and attention. He needs good care.He does not need jeweled collars and 20.
outfits to match all of yours. He does not need rich fattening food and treats.my dogs loved a slice of an apple or a baby carrot for a treat.I gave them a no grain all natural kibble with just a dab of canned food mixed in. They slept either on the foot of my bed or beside it in their own bed.
They learned rules and were expected to obey them. They were very happy healthy social dogs. When dog is over indulged it can be over weight,in pain from joint problems breathing issues and heart disease. They are uncomfortable unsure about who is in charge and tend to be nervous and snappy.Don’t do that to your buddy.Enjoy a trim healthy friend for many happy years.till next time,Betty L.
